We’re thrilled to welcome award-winning author, pioneering researcher, four-time entrepreneur, and noted professor Hod Lipson as our keynote speaker on the morning of May 13, 2025.
Hod will explore the cutting edge of advanced manufacturing and self-aware machines in a way that’s both practical and accessible. His talk is sure to spark fresh thinking across sectors—from traditional manufacturing to healthcare, construction, advanced materials, energy, transportation, agriculture, and food and beverage.

Good Friday STEM DAY
*Note: The Cleveland Engineering Society is not coordinating this upcoming event. It is being organized and hosted by our manufacturing community friends AWT.
Open to ages 9–14, this hands-on event combines imagination and robotics as students create their own SkitterBots. These insect-inspired DIY robots will run along surfaces powered by the circuits your students create. Participants will work with soldering, circuitry, and crafty construction to build a robotic creepy crawly just in time for spring.
